My very first blog

Yayyyyy!!!!!!! I picked up Georgie this weekend and he is sooo happy to be back in Miami and so am I!.... As far as my research paper goes.........I'm not sure at all what I want to write about. I was thinking maybe I could write about processed vs. organic food and the effects of each (if any) on a person's overall psychological (or physical) well-being.....but I don't know if this is the type of research paper Kevin is looking for. How is everybody else doing? Hmmm....and thats really all I have to say on my Blog tonight, see everyone in class on Tuesday! :) xoxo

  1. A) It's nice to see that Georgie is back.
    B) We're not "looking for" research papers.
    C) Your subject is a great initial idea, but I'd like to ask this: what's the "issue"? (Apologies for the quotation marks, but I can't write in italics.) It's definitely an interesting place to start, especially considering your background in psych.
    D) GNR + Reflection Journals = Final Grade.

  2. A) yes it is!
    B) I knew you were going to say that. heeheh
    C) The "issue" (no italics) is that organic food is healthier than processed yet ridiculously more expensive.....ok so the "issue" arena may need some serious tweaking...but I really want to do my paper on organic vs. processed, will you help me brainstorm? please
    D) G n'R + Reflection Journals + Me= almost there! :)

  3. An "issue" does not result in a "yes" or "no" answer. So, yes, organic food is more expensive, perhaps unfairly.

But, is there a "yes" or "no" answer to your question about the quality of food a person eats and his or her psychological/physical well-being. Probably. Okay... most likely.

But, what do you think college students think about these types of foods? Do they even care? Do college students even know what "organic" means? If so, are they more or less likely to buy it? Do they think "organic" is better for them, or worse?
